Nowadays, growing, harvesting, and packaging literally anything is an expensive endeavour. Margins shrink daily, it seems.

With our high-quality, standard sized bags, you can enjoy shaving a few bucks off your cost to manufacture. Over thousands of units, this equates to a massive savings. And you can rest easy knowing you haven't risked your product with an inferior packaging material.

About us

  • In the beginning

It all started with a couple of fellas trying to help out a local grow store. This store of Oregon lore continuously sold out of plastic bags--they couldn't keep them on the shelf. In 2018, we created our own product line, helped our local hydro store keep up with their demand, and thus Trapper's Choice was born.

Over time, Trapper's Choice has grown into a nationally recognized brand.

We stand by our products because we extensively tested and researched them prior to making them available to select stores. We took feedback, improved our supply chain processes, and ramped it up. We know, as we hope you do, that when you put your trust in Trapper's Choice, you're in good hands. We are, after all, the choice of the those who drive the industry. We look forward to meeting you.

FAQ

Do you offer wholesale pricing on your vacuum sealer bags?

Yes, we offer competitive, direct-from-wholesaler pricing to all customers regardless of order size.

Are your vacuum sealer bags safe for use with food? Or just “herbs?”

Absolutely! Our vacuum sealer bags are safe for use with food. They can even be used for sous-vide cooking, as our supplier rates them to 450 degrees farenheit.

How do I properly seal a vacuum sealer bag?

To properly seal a Trapper’s Choice vac bag, simply place your food or herb item in the bag, squarely line the bag up within the Teflon tape on the vacuum sealer, activate the vacuum, and remove as much air as possible before sealing.

We recommended wiping down the sealer and bags between seals to remove contaminants that may be transferred to each bag in between seals.

Can your vacuum sealer bags be reused?

While our vacuum sealer bags are made to last, they are not designed for extensive reuse. Cutting the top of the bag open after use will shorten the bag length, so they will eventually become useless, but the walls of the bags will last for multiple uses save for punctures or tears.

Are your vacuum sealer bags made in the USA?

While our company was born in Oregon in the heart of the Emerald Triangle, and is certainly based in the USA, our vacuum sealer bags are manufactured by our partners in Guangdong Province, China.

What is the thickness of your vacuum sealer bags?

Our vacuum sealer bags are a sturdy 4 mils thick. Dimensions vary depending on your product choice.

What shipping speeds or options do you offer?

We offer free ground shipping, and expedited shipping for an additional fee. On very large orders, we may be willing to cover some of the cost of expedited or freight shipping. We partner with some of the most reliable carriers in the country and will ensure that your delivery from our Portland or Oklahoma City warehouse is insured and tracked the entire way.

How many bags and seals do you recommend to safely secure herb so that it doesn't smell?

We prefer three bags, two seals on each. Alcohol wipes used on both plastic and sealer in between seals. Rest, drink a beer, and wait between layers to make sure you sealed them correctly! Check out this LINK to see how to do it using Trapper's Choice bags and our preferred method.
